With some Loose Cannons members away in Malacca for 3 days tour we had some leftovers here in KL gagging for a game ……. so we decided to play KGSAAS as many of those players missed the game last week at this course. We had 3 full flights with 12 players and after a very efficient check in we tee’d off on President and Shah Alam 9’s at just before 8:00am ….. with only a minor delay because Robert Mulliss had to change out of his “illegal” cargo pants into something more becoming!
The course was very quiet but after heavy rain overnight the course was a little wet with many of the bunkers flooded. The greens however were fine and played very nicely. After the storms of last week there was a lot of evidence of downed trees and branches throughout the course but the maintennace crews were tidying this up very well.
After the game we had a pleasant lunch at the club and managed to spend the carryover with a well judged RM49.99 per head for all players who stayed for lunch.

Results
The winner this week was Kevin Wiggins with a score of 91 for 37 points and then 3 players all in 2nd place with 35 points. Best gross was Martin Walsh with a 90 and David Evans got best value for money with the highest gross of 117. Full scores tabulated below:

15 Loose Cannons players played at Kota Seriemas Golf and Country Club today with a sharp tee off at 7:30am all from tee box no. 1. The course was in fine condition and the pace was good on the front 9 but by the time we did the turn we had a jumbo flight group of 5 players in front who held us up for a number of holes till they let us play through.

After a quick registration we were able to start by 0745 with flights split between Putera and Puteri nines. The course was in good condition with cool cloudy weather making for a very pleasant start, although the Puteri greens were much slower than Putera.
