This is a special request for all Loose Cannons players to please sponsor our fellow player Joe Lacy who will once again be running in the London Marathon on 23rd April 2017 to help raise funds for the Parkinson’s Disease fund ……. I attach below a personal note from Joe and ask you to kindly support this great effort. Joe, as we all know, is also suffering from Parkinsons so it is indeed a valiant effort on his part to do this run to help counteract the disease as well as hopefully raising much needed funds for research.
Guys, I’m sorry I was not able to celebrate my birthday with you on Tuesday but my body is a finely tuned machine just now and that does not allow putting Tiger in my tank. I’m off to London tonight to acclimatise to the UK weather for my attempt to beat last years record at the London Marathon. I’m running to raise funds to try and find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease. The main drug treatment for PD has not changed in 50 years and they need more and better research. I’d appreciate any support you can give including moral, just don’t ask me to carry a fridge.
