Finally, we were back at the reopened Berjaya Hills course and it was a nice and interesting experience, even as expected with the amount of rain from the last weeks, the course was soggy and muddy but you know what, we enjoyed the morning with a good company, beautiful scenery, cool weather for a change and a nice sound coming out from the misty jungle. After 5 drops we were only six but the good and brave ones. We teed off on hole # 1 and surprisingly they allowed us to drive on the course, making some German drivers get stuck in the mud and some of us sliding driving for a few meters making our morning feel like a Paris Dakar rally. The winner today was Ricardo Castro with a reasonable 82 for 34 points, the second was Bernhard Romahn with 94 for 29, and in third place was Roland Steiner with 100 for 28 points. After the game, we had lunch at Restaurant 126 and after waiting for our food for at least 40 minutes, finally we had our lunch with a few beers to cool down our adrenaline from the morning jungle adventure. Merry Christmas to all LC members extensive to the families and a great 2024.
