Two full flights started before 8:00 am on hole # 10 with overcast sky but very humid with heavy rain on holes 5 and 6, but we were able to finished the round with wet fairways and greens. The winner today was Steve Collins with a solid 95 for 36 points, followed by Bernhard Romahn also with a solid 88 for 35 points, and in third place was Hans Berger (maybe he drank the very special Spanish wine from Banting) with a nice 119 for 32 points. With these results Bernhard is now leading the monthly competition with a strong 75 points, followed by Steve Collins with 70 and in third place with a nice number is Ricardo with 69 points. Lunch at Fei Chuai restoran with special dishes to celebrate Marc’s birthday and he donated a generous contribution of 400.00rm to the bill, receiving a nice box of balls as a birthday gift. LC CHRISTMAS LUNCH REPORT-12-12-2025

Fourteen LC members celebrated one more Christmas lunch at Four Points KL City Center hotel (Our 2025 sponsor) with glamour, friendship, happiness and a lot of fun. All arrived on time, except Hans Berger (fined 50.00 rm) at R bar for a couple of welcome drinks, virgin ceremony to Steven Collins, Marc Louette as a new members and Markus Nijmeijer as the first Christmas lunch) and Iain Wise as the wine expert, checked the crappiest bottle of wine with the winner fine of 50.00 rm went to Hans Berger with a “Spanish wine bottle” produced in Banting, Malaysia. A big thank you for our sponsor who offers a bigger room (Garden room), much bigger with a nice and well decorated Christmas table with a nice buffet and a special Christmas lunch set menu. The food was excellent specially the tenderloin (thank you to Bipan Kapur) accompanied with great service. Ricardo Castro open the formalities with a big thank you to all the LC members, and distributed the 2025 season summary report with all the numbers and a Christmas goodie bags with some gifts, including the 2026 shirts. After, our honorary member Andrew Robinson said some words about the beginning of the Loose Cannons society and we made a special toast to the members who have passed away, because they will never be forgotten. After some great food and drinks, and following the tradition, everyone have to say a joke or sing a song, and I must say this year we had a quite a strange jokes and funny presentations, maybe we all are getting older. Thanks again for your support, Merry Christmas to everyone extended to the families, and may the force be with you.

Back to one of the best courses in town for a nice round of golf. Seven players started on tee box one before 8:00 am, with a nice blue sky and sunny day. The course was in good condition with fair greens. Today’s winner was Ricardo Castro with an excellent 77 for 37 points, second was Steve Collins with a solid 98 for 34 points, and in third place was Jan van Driel with a nice 94 for 33 points. After two games Ricardo is now leading the monthly competition with 69 points, followed by Steve with 66 and Martin Belderink with 64 points. Lunch at the club due the low numbers and Jan welcomed Charlie Chow. See you guys next week at Impian.

Last month of the year and Bangi was the course to play and start December games with style. With 2 flights starting on Putrajaya nine and 2 on Kajang nine we had a fast and smooth pace all morning. The weather was overcast, hot and humid, with very good fairways and nice greens. The winner was Bernhard Romahn with a excellent 83 for 40 points, second was Marvin Gan with a solid 85 for 38 points, and in third place was Iain Wise with a nice 99 for 33 points. We celebrated Jan’s birthday with a nice lunch at East of Highway and he contributed with 200.00rm to the bill. See you guys next week at Bkt Jalil.
