Great time of the year to play Kota Seriemas course and enjoy the perfect weather and Ramadan promotion. The course played well with reasonable fairways and fairy greens. Today’s winner was Fritz Katzengruber with a solid 36 points, Bernhard Romahn and Siegmund Maeibrugger came second and third with a low score of 29 points. On the race to win the March competition Ricardo Castro still hanging on the first place with a short 60 points, followed closely by Siggy, Bernhard and Markus all with 59 points, leaving all open for the last 2 games. As usual lunch at Sek Hao Fu restaurant where we celebrated Bernhard’s birthday with a nice contribution of 300.00 rm from him providing a free lunch for everyone and he also got a nice box of balls as a birthday gift. Next week lets meet at Amverton.

A great morning of golf at Bkt Beruntung, with hot and dry weather. Seven brave Cannon’s started 30 min early on the hole # 10 for a smooth and fast run of golf. As always, the course was in a good shape with nice fairways and very good greens. The winner was Josef Winter with 36 points, second and third place was Markus Nijmeijer and Hans Berger booth with a reasonable 34 points. With these results Ricardo Castro still leading the monthly competition with a low score of 60 points, followed by Bernhard Romahn with 59 and Marc Louette with 56 points, so all open for the last 3 games. Lunch at the club house because all the Chinese restaurants in the area only open after 5 pm.

Three flights started 30 minutes late from our original tee time at Pines nine and crossing over to the Island nine. We had a big group of Koreans in front of us and the round was quite slow specially the last 4 holes, and it toked 5 hours to finished the round. The weather was very hot and dry, with nice fairways and very good greens conditions beside the challenging pin position. Last week we all had a good results, but this week the results were quite opposite with the first 3 places scoring only 30 points with Ricardo winning OCB. Lunch at the club and Ricardo Castro contributed with 400.00 rm celebrating his milestone reaching 400 LC games. See you guys next week at Bkt Beruntung.

The last game of February was held at Bangi, with two flights started at Bangi nine and two at Kajang nine. The weather was hot and dry with nice fairways and good greens. The course was empty and we all finished below 4 hours. Fantastic results all over with the last place with a score of 30 points and the winner Iain Wise scoring a massive 44 points, second place was Reinli Tan with a solid 39 and in third place was Markus Nijmeijer with a nice 38 points. With these fantastic results, the February champion (Fritz Katzengruber) won the competition by one point difference of 75 to the second place (Siegmund Maeibrugger & Iain Wise) booth with 74 points. Congratulations to Fritz with this massive victory closing a great week with his birthday lunch with a nice contribution to the bill of 200.00 rm. For the LCPOTY competition Siggy is now leading the pack with 28 points, followed by Bernhard Romahn with 23 and in third place Fritz with 20 points. Next week lets open the March competition with a game at Nilai Springs.
