Its always a pleasure to play in Amverton, with cool temperatures in the morning and warm sunshine and blue skies at the end of the game. The course was in good condition with nice fairways and reasonable greens, except for 3 or 4 witch were not in good condition, very bumping and no grass, but overall playable conditions for a good game of golf witch we all enjoyed very much. Today’s game was one of the fastest we’ve played this year, all flights finishing in three and a half hours, and we were all back to KL around 2 pm, after a nice lunch at Suka restaurant. Clive Gordon was the winner with a solid 86 for 39 points, followed by David Cheung with another solid result of 87 for 37 points, and Bernhard Romahn closed the podium with a nice 88 for 34 points. For the monthly competition, Bernhard is now leading the pack with 64 points, followed closely by Ricardo and Fritz with 63 and 62 points. We also had a nice celebration commemorating David Cheung’s birthday, who contributed with 200.00 rm to the bill and he got a nice box of balls as a birthday gift. Next week back to KL to play Seri Selangor.
