Results
Only 14 players teed off as a result of a no show and a late withdrawal, resulting in 2 three balls.
Unusually at the moment the weather was cool and overcast and some rain on the back 9. Along with the weather and the recent “piggy attacks” the scores were higher than expected.
The winner with an excellent 89 for 40 points was Stuart Taylor, cut 4 . Second was Glen Wombwell with 100 for 38 points. Cut 1. Lowest gross was Ted Parslow with 87.
A good lunch was had at the Dengkil Seafood Restaurant in Dengkil on the suggestion of Andrew Robinson.
Discussions agreed at the lunch.
1) USGA H/Cap system will be used after Stuart has checked all running OK with the software. Aim to start for the first game in August. Capping to be set at 3 over h/cap.
The basis will be on all rounds played in 2013. Review in 3 months to check all working well and the desired results are being achieved.
2) Starting immediately LC s will play to the rules of golf. Local club rules to apply, if relevant. Inclement conditions, requiring pick and clean to be announced on the day by the convenor.

17 players turned out in very pleasant conditions and we teed off on time from 2 tee boxes on the Hills course. The course was in excellent condition and the greens were true and fast. A little slow play , especially as we caught up with the walkers.
A very surprising situation happened at registration when it was discovered that that the club only accept Mycad and not passports as proof of age… The situation was discussed after the game with management and we will wait and see what the result is. Will we play at this excellent course again ??
The winner on the day was Kevin Wiggins with an excellent 86,for 43 points, cut 7. Bernard Rohman was second with 90 for 41 points. Cut only 1.

A very hot day at Tasik, especially the Tasik nine. 16 players turned out, starting from 2 tee boxes. The course was very dry, good run on the fairways and true greens resulted in some good scores. The winner on the day was Hans Berger with a 92 for 42 points. Cut 6 .. second on count back from Graham Cadman was Andrew Robinson, with 91 for 41 cut 1. Lowest gross was Geoff Mclaws with 81.
The game celebrated Barry’s 250th game for LCs. An enjoyable lunch followed and with Barry’s generous supply of wine , a good time was had by all. Barry also donated two bottles of “nectar” , which were won by Kevin, 4th place and Ray for 10th place. Thanks Barry.
