The R&A and the USGA have announced a major set of proposed changes to the Rules of Golf. These changes result from our Rules Modernisation initiative that began five years ago in an effort to bring the Rules up to date to fit the needs of the game today globally.

All players should read these proposed changes and be ready for when thye come into effect in 2019. It is interesting to note the focus on speeding up the game with less time to look for a lost ball and a new rule on the pace of play …. many of our members will need to pay attention to this one!
