Cannon’s,

Nine brave Cannon’s drove all the way to the “far far away A Famosa galaxy” to play a nice round of golf. Three flights started before 8:00 am on the Palm nine, crossing over to the famous Crocodile nine, with hot but overcast weather. The course as always was in good condition with nice fairways and very good greens. Frigg Steinmann flew all the away from Switzerland :-)) to play his 3rd game with us. Today’s winner was Ricardo Castro with a solid 78 for 38 points, beating Fritz OCB, and in third place was Bernhard with a nice 87 for 37 points. In the monthly competition, Bernhard and Ricardo now both have 76 points, but Bernhard is in first place due to his better score in game one staying Ricardo in second place, and Clive closely in third place with 74 points, so there’s still a lot to fight for. For lunch and thanks to Mike Smith tip we tried the Han’s restaurant in Alor Gajah (just 6 min away from the club) and no regrets, the food was excellent and very cold beers. Myself, Josef, Bernhard and Marc we extend our trip until Friday in Melaka for a few more games. Next week lets go to Tasik.
