The last game of August was held at Tasik Puteri with a nice and pleasant weather. Three flights started on time on Tasik nine with quite difficult course conditions with super dry and hard fairways, and speedy greens (9.5). The back nine we played the Puteri course, with better conditions even dry but much better fairways and regular greens but with very difficult pin positions specially on holes # 2, 3, 4 & 9. The winner was Bernhard Romahn with a solid 84 for 38 points, followed by Ricardo Castro with a nice 79 for 35 points and in third place was Josef Winter with 93 for 32 points. With these results Reinli Tan is the monthly champion with a strong 83 points, followed by Steve Collins with 78 and Josef Winter with 75. August games done and for the LCPOTY annual competition, Bernhard still firm leading the pack with 78 points, followed closely by Fritz Katzengruber with 67 and Ricardo Castro with 65. Four months to finish 2026 and all still open with a few candidates to be the 2026 champion. Hans Berger just back to the course after a long 3 months recovery, and we all hope he can finish the year in a very strong note. Lets start September hostilities at Bangi.
