The last game of March was held at Kota Seriemas with a nice Ramadan promotion. Course conditions were excellent, very dry and hot weather. Three full flights teed off before 8:00 am from tee box 1 and we all finished in good time. Today we had a special winner, our young Viking from Sweeden, Hans Berger with a nice 114 for 39 points (his last win was on the 24th of September 2019 with 90/46 at Staffield), followed by David Evans with also a nice score of 104 for 37 points, and in third place was Siegmund Maierbrugger with a reasonable 95 for 33 points. Ten of us rushed to our usual restaurant at Nilai for a nice meal with a cool amber beverage, with Bernhard Romahn contributing 300.00 Rm, celebrating his birthday on March 14th. Roland got his special Batam shirt related to his victory in Batam. With today’s results, Josef is the March winner with 76 points, followed in second by Bernhard Romahn with 74, and in third place Roland Steiner and Bent Serritslev booth with 71 points. For the LCOTY competition, Ricardo Castro keeps his position as a leader now with 42 points, followed closely in second is Bernhard Romahn with 38 points, and in third place is Roland Steiner with 30 points. So I should say this Month is the German Mafia month with Roland winning Batam away, Josef Winter winning the March competition, and Bernhard Romahn, Josef Winter, and Roland Steiner in the top four for the LCOTY competition, controlling all the top places. We are looking forward to starting the April games next week at Famosa Club.
